Travel Teams: Teams at the 13, 14 and 15 year old age group are selected on the basis of pre-season tryouts to compete in the Metro Baseball League (MBL) divisions AAA, AA and A. The MBL games will involve home and away games against similar teams from a region generally encompassing the Western Metro area.  Typically, MBL teams play a 16-game regular season schedule plus a year-end tournament.  In addition, Travel teams will play in approximately 4-5 weekend tournaments in May, June and July.  Each Travel team will typically have 11-13 players.  

The goals of HBA Travel are to:

• compete successfully in our league and tournaments, and
• develop players for the high school level.

In turn, competition and time commitments are high.  It's very rewarding, but we want to set expectations for those new to Travel Baseball.  Each of these teams will compete in a minimum three or four regular season tournaments with the opportunity to compete on one or two state tournaments at their respective levels.
