Senior Babe Ruth
HOPKINS SR BABE RUTH INFORMATION
Hopkins Senior Babe Ruth is offered to 16-18 year olds and is a community based program. Players must be 18 years old or younger as of April 30, 2008. The Senior Babe Ruth program in Minnetonka has been growing steadily over the past few years. Senior Babe Ruth is set up with the understanding that kids may have other commitments (i.e., jobs, vacations, weekend trips to the cabin, etc.). Senior Babe Ruth teams play games against other Hopkins teams as well as games against other area community teams. They have also started a tradition of ending their year with a wood bat tournament at Guilliam. The Senior Babe Ruth season is played from June 1st through July 31st and the teams play approximately 18-22 regular season games.
Registrations are now being accepted for Senior Babe Ruth. Players will need to attend player evaluations in the spring, but this is not a tryout. All players will be placed on a team. Please click on the following links for parent information and registration materials:
